FAQs
Weigh in will take place at the venue between 1 hour before your group is due to start (E.g. Group start time: 10am, weigh in 9am)
Singlets are not required, however if you would like to wear one, we encourage it. Shorts/leggings and tight fitting vests/t-shirts are acceptable. Knee sleeves and wrist straps may be worn.
For children, we recommend over the age of 6 or 7. There is no upward age limit.
Previous olympic lifting experience would be recommended as coaching will be limited on the day, however, you do not need any previous competition experience to participate. This is a great time to experience a comp without any pressure.
GoLift will have a limited number of coaches available on the day depending on entry numbers. We would encourage you to speak to your regular coach about coaching on the day. If you do not have a coach we will help you on the day.
Absolutely not! This is your chance to test out the work you've been doing in your olympic lifting to see what you can achieve.
